    I think you are a miracle-it is truly hard to meet someone who thinks Mondays are great! I do agree with your ideas and for us chicks -an added tip is: wash and condition your hair Sunday night - it will make Monday much better- I am a quick get ready gal, so unless it's a super important event, I want to shower, makeup minimal & go!
    I dislike my current job, which contributes to my personal Monday blues, but I have started collecting quotes -uplifting or inspirational quotes. I have them in a shoe box, so Sunday nite, I pull one out & stick it to the bathroom mirror. It has been 2 weeks and I believe it helps me start my day in a more positive frame of mind.
    I also love lists - they do help a person focus.

    I'm glad you found this helpful! I'm a morning shower-er, so the idea of washing up the night before didn't occur to me - but it's a good point, especially if you have longer hair.

    I'm sorry that you don't like your current job ... but keeping yourself motivated with inspirational quotes is great. I really admire you taking the initiative to do that.

    And yes, lists are awesome.

    Very good article. I like how you mention that we should wake up earlier than necessary. I have been waking up at 6am, even though I could sleep until 8:30am and still be on time for work. I use those 2+ hours to relax and do things that please me. When I get to work I am not distracted or sleepy. :)

    Of course, if for some reason I had to go to bed late I would wake up a bit later to get a good night's sleep, which I consider more important. But I do plan my schedule aiming to wake up early.

    I actually find that waking up early sometimes gives me more energy for the rest of the day. Seems strange, but it works. Does that ever happen to you?

    Although sometimes when waking up early after just 5-6 hours of sleep I may feel a sudden surge of energy, doing so frequently has bad effects. It's because of this that, for health purposes (and my brain's sake), I aim to get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep. :)

    But yes, it happens to me sometimes!

    Haha, nice coincidence! I read your post, and I really liked the point you made about making your job better instead of just quitting.

    Planning out my Mondays has really helped me stay on top of things recently. I used to feel rather shell-shocked after the weekend, but having a plan of action laid out makes a big difference.

    I always check my email on Sunday night to see what I'm going to be walking into on Monday morning. That way I can be prepared to add anything someone needs urgently to my to do list for Monday.
